This new company will be managed by founder of MyDoge and DogeOS Jordan Jefferson.
Dogecoin Labs Brings Core DOGE Products Under One RoofDogecoin Labs will have a majority stake in the ownership and management of such apps, DogeOS, and MyDoge. Additionally, the organization will gain access to the Dogecoin Foundation’s and House of Doge’s IP, Technology, and Developer talent.
The Foundation will continue handling ecosystem stewardship, open-source support, advocacy, and community activity, while Dogecoin Labs focuses on products and commercial expansion. It focuses on wallets, payments, trading, DeFi and games, as well as social products, commerce and developer infrastructure.
The strategy aims to tackle an existing deficiency in the Dogecoin ecosystem, as DOGE has a large user base globally and high liquidity, while very few applications have been developed for DOGE users.

MyDoge Gives Developers Access to 500,000+ UsersMyDoge V3 has recently been launched and it is plugged in applications developed with the aid of DogeOS. According to MyDoge, it now claims over 500,000 users, and has done so without any expense of paying for users.
With that existing user base, DOGE’s future developers have a distribution channel right off the bat, and DOGE holders have more convenient access to new apps via the wallet.
MyDoge can also be applied to top-notch DOGE transactions. Founding chairman Bill Lee previously used $600,000 worth of DOGE to acquire a team in Ice Cube’s BIG3 basketball league.
DogeOS Pushes DOGE Beyond Simple TransfersOn September 30th, DogeOS launched its public testnet, providing an EVM compatible environment for applications that will be developed on Dogecoin. Previously unavailable tools familiar to the Ethereum community are now available to teams to test their products for trading, DeFi, payments, gaming, AI, social apps, and digital assets.
The public testnet allows developers to experiment with their application in the app first, gather feedback, and bring the product to DOGE users. Dogecoin Labs is committed to helping its own development teams and builders on its network infrastructure.

Such App Targets DOGE Payments for MerchantsThis type of App adds the business side of the relationship. It already supports DOGE invoicing, sales of goods and services, and offline QR payments, with its beta capabilities. Planned integration with DogeOS will allow merchants to be plugged directly into the broader application environment.
This three-part structure comprises MyDoge, DogeOS, and Such App, which allows Dogecoin Labs to expand the usage of DOGE from a widely held crypto asset to a payments and application network.
