US spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $986.9 million in net inflows for the week ended Sept. 4, according to SoSoValue data, their third consecutive week of positive flows. The figure was up from $924.5 million the previous week.
BlackRock’s IBIT led last week’s flows with $691.5 million, about seven of every ten dollars that went into the category.
Spot ether ETFs took in $218.4 million, also a third straight positive week. Trading volume thinned on both sides: bitcoin fund volume fell to $14.6 billion from nearly $19 billion, and ether fund volume dropped to $4.1 billion from $6.3 billion.
Last week’s flows continue with momentum built in August. Spot bitcoin ETFs pulled in $3.52 billion for the month, their largest monthly haul since September 2025, and spot ether ETFs took in $1.85 billion, their best month since August 2025.
Bitcoin was most recently trading around $79,000 after topping $82,000 last Thursday. Traders are now watching the Sept. 10 jobless claims and the Sept. 11 CPI print.
