SOL price prediction is hereAccording to former Goldman Sachs executive Raoul Pal, Solana (SOL) is one of his top picks for alternative cryptocurrencies and has the potential to be the most promising project outside of Ethereum (ETH).
In a recent interview with Altcoin Daily, the founder of Real Vision noted that Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko, also known as Toly, is becoming an important figure in the crypto community and is a great representative for the Solana ecosystem.
Pal observes Solana objectively and admires Toly’s leadership style, which includes accepting others and building bridges instead of destroying them.
Additionally, Pal notices a highly engaged developer community that is passionate about building the Solana ecosystem and technology, and there is a lot of public awareness of the chain.
Visa, the major payments company, has revealed plans to develop stablecoin settlement capabilities on the Solana platform. Industry expert Pal suggests that Visa is likely heading in the right direction with this move.
Pal also predicts that the digital asset market is poised for further growth in the coming years, and Solana could be a reliable option for investors looking to capitalize on this trend.
“So, why is Visa using Solana? Because it’s fast. It’s fast, and it does a good job.
It’s not Ethereum. It’s different from Ethereum and even the way Toly has been talking about, ‘Could SOL be a layer-2 on ETH?,’ or ‘How do these worlds integrate?’ It just shows that for Visa to make a wrong decision is not that easy because things can be bridged, things can be interoperable…”
He continued and stated the following:
“I’ve just been observing that and the Solana space has not put a foot wrong for a long time now, just when everybody had maximum fear and hate over the space…
For me, it’s a great story. It’s still probably the best major story in the space outside of Ethereum because Ethereum is the big daddy. But we’re looking at the next stage down, where’s the next altcoin that has relative security, and you’re not taking a wild guess…”
