Key Takeaways:
- Working together on technical infrastructure and digital asset compliance is part of ADGM and Chainlink’s partnership.
- AI, blockchain regulation, and other cutting-edge technologies will also be discussed.
- The opening of Seviora Group’s new office in Abu Dhabi is indicative of the growing interest of international financial institutions in the regulated market and investor network of Abu Dhabi.
Chainlink and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) signed a cooperation agreement on March 24, 2025, to develop blockchain standards and explore new tokenization frameworks. The partnership aims to support regulated digital asset projects within ADGM’s financial center.

As part of the deal, ADGM’s Registration Authority will work with Chainlink to apply its technical services to tokenized assets while ensuring compliance. The two sides also plan to hold discussions on blockchain regulations, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies.
Chainlink to Support UAE’s Digital Asset Efforts“This strategic alliance is a significant step in further solidifying ADGM’s leadership in enabling blockchain innovation and enhancing alignment in the regulatory approach globally,” said Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, CEO of ADGM Registration Authority.
Chainlink, known for its data verification tools and cross-chain connectivity, says its technology has helped settle over $19 trillion in transactions. The company works with major financial institutions to improve transparency and efficiency in digital markets.
“ADGM has developed a robust environment where tokenisation projects can thrive,” said Angie Walker, Global Head of Banking and Capital Markets at Chainlink Labs. “We are excited to see projects under the purview of ADGM Registration Authority adopt the Chainlink standard, enabling seamless compliance, enhanced connectivity across markets, and highly secure on-chain services.”
The collaboration as per ADGM would enhance its regulations on digital assets such as the DLT Foundations framework designed to support decentralized projects within a regulated system.
Abu Dhabi Attracts More Global Asset ManagersAs part of its international expansion, Seviora Group, an asset manager based in Singapore with $54 billion in assets under management, opened its first Middle Eastern office at ADGM today.
The new office facilitates interaction with sovereign wealth funds, international banks, and institutional investors while enhancing Seviora’s presence in the region’s developing asset management industry.
To oversee Seviora’s operations in the UAE, Sadiq Hussain has been named Senior Executive Officer. Hussain, a capital markets and international asset management expert, will lead the charge to form alliances and develop the company’s investment products in the region’s public and private markets.
Financial institutions wanting to increase their Middle East presence remain drawn to Abu Dhabi. Firms entering emerging markets and on the hunt for international investment are choosing ADGM because of its regulatory system and increasing investor base.
As part of overall initiatives to expand financial services, the region is also witnessing sustained interest in tokenization and digital assets. Recent deals are one indication of a slow evolution towards combining technology and traditional finance within regulated spheres.
