It’s been revealed that the creator of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, is looking at the SEC’s moves and tells followers that it’s more than obvious the fact that the entity is trying its best to kill crypto. Check out the latest reports about this matter below.
Cardano creator reveals SEC’s massive efforts to kill cryptoCardano (ADA) creator Charles Hoskinson made sure to state the fact that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is taking legal action against Binance as part of a broader effort to clamp down on the digital assets industry.
On Monday, the SEC filed 13 charges against the world’s largest crypto exchange and its founder, Changpeng Zhao. This happened for allegedly violating different securities laws.
Among other allegations, it’s also important to mention the fact that Binance is accused of operating illegal exchanges, selling unregistered securities, inflating its trading volume artificially, and diverting customer funds.
Hoskinson also stated that the main reason the SEC filed the lawsuit against Binance is to pave the way for a central bank digital currency (CBDC).
“With respect to Binance, I’m reading through the SEC complaint. It’s over 130 pages, but seems like the next in a series of steps to implement chokepoint 2.0 in the United States.”
He continued and revealed the fact that the end goal is an agenda-based CBDC “partnered with a handful of massive banks and end-to-end control over every aspect of your financial life.”
More experts have been addressing the dangers of CBDC these days, and it really looks like we’re getting closer to their adoption, especially in the US. The projects have been tested in Nigeria and more locations but here, they obviously failed.
In other recent news, it has been just revealed that there is a popular crypto analyst who is breaking down Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and the rest of the crypto markets after a busy week.
