SOL new price prediction just inA well-known cryptocurrency analyst believes that Solana (SOL), a competitor of Ethereum (ETH), could experience a significant increase in value and reach new all-time highs within the next year.
The trader, who goes by the pseudonym Inmortal, shared a chart with their 202,700 followers on the social media platform X, which predicts that SOL will surge to $360 by the beginning of 2025.
According to Inmortal’s chart, the sixth-ranked cryptocurrency by market capitalization is expected to rise to around $100 by the end of this year, with most of its gains being realized in the second half of 2024.
SOL is currently being traded at $60.81, which is a decrease of more than 3% in the last 24 hours.
According to CoinGecko, the all-time high of this Ethereum competitor was around $260, which it achieved in November 2021.
Inmortal predicts that Litecoin (LTC), a peer-to-peer payments network, could reach around $90 by early 2024. At the time of writing, LTC is being traded at $72.38.
Regarding Bitcoin (BTC), the analyst suggests that there might be a dip in its price this week. Inmortal notes that $38,000 is the level at which he would like to go long on the top crypto asset.
BTC is trading at $44,045 at time of writing, its highest level since April 2022.
The other day, we revealed the fact that Anatoly Yakovenko, the co-founder of Solana, has unveiled what he believes to be one of the most impactful innovations to emerge from the crypto industry.
In a recent interview with macro guru Raoul Pal, Yakovenko confidently stated that decentralized finance (DeFi) is unequivocally the best thing to come out of crypto.
“DeFi is the most important app for crypto. It is the biggest innovation I think that crypto brought to the world. It’s the one that’s the hardest for adoption because this is a software-eating part of finance that humans really, really do not want to give up control of.”
