Recent reports have revealed that SHIB is introducing digital identities into their ecosystem’s projects.
SHIB ecosystem is making big movesAccording to the official Twitter account of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem, lead developer Shytoshi Kusama plans to incorporate Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) in all future Shiba Inu projects.
SSI is a blockchain-based digital identity solution that functions like a passport for verifying identity in the digital realm. With SSI, users have complete control over how their digital identity is stored and utilized.
According to Shiba Inu influencer Lucie, Shibarium SSI offers five huge benefits for all holders of the ecosystem’s tokens.
“Shibarium SSI: Control your data, stay private!
Self Custody
Portability
ZK (zero-knowledge) Compliant
Secure
Gateway
Your key to secure identity!”
The project’s upcoming layer-2 scaling solution, Shibarium, has caused a lot of excitement, leading to an announcement. Shib has shared that the community is experiencing substantial growth leading up to the launch.
“We’re seeing an incredible surge in our community. The number of addresses holding SHIB has reached an all-time high, with a remarkable 22% increase in the past week. We welcome all the new SHIBARMY recruits.”
Currently, SHIB is trading for $0.00000837, and it has seen a 7.2% increase over the past week. However, it remains over 90% lower than its all-time high of $0.00008616, making it still a competitor to Dogecoin (DOGE).
Shibarium’s cross-chain bridge, which is revolutionary, has been made available for public testing, according to Lucie, a SHIB marketing specialist. However, Lucie advises users not to use their actual crypto assets to test the bridge.
Shibarium Beta Bridge is available for testingLucie announced to users that the Shibarium Beta Bridge is now open for public testing. She informed them that they can be among the first to experience this revolutionary cross-chain solution.
Additionally, she urged caution and advised users to verify the legitimacy of any website before connecting their wallets. Lucie emphasized that they should only use faucets and not risk their real assets.
The newly developed bridge employs both Plasma and proof-of-stake (PoS) technology to facilitate the seamless transfer of tokens between Shibarium and Ethereum.
