While large caps are finding their footing at key support levels, whales are already pivoting to low-cap assets and presale cryptos.
For instance, the new BTC layer-2 coin, Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), is gaining significant traction among deep-pocketed investors. Just on Saturday, a whale purchased nearly $60k worth of HYPER in two separate transactions, data from Etherscan reveals.
Behind strong whale and retail demand, the Bitcoin Hyper presale is nearing the $7 million milestone, a sign of strong community support and high upside potential.
Prominent crypto influencers and analysts are already taking note, with some even calling it the next 100x crypto.
Why Are Whales Buying Bitcoin Hyper?Bitcoin Hyper has quickly established itself as a promising BTC Layer-2 chain.
Owing to strong institutional demand this cycle and US President Donald Trump’s pro-crypto stance, Bitcoin is well-positioned as one of the top-performing assets in the global financial markets. It is living up to its promise of being the digital gold, while outperforming stocks in upside.
However, BTC remains far from Satoshi’s vision of being a “peer-to-peer electronic cash system”.
Its high network congestion, limited block size and growing demand mean that transactions often take well beyond 10 minutes to be validated. YCharts data reveals that BTC’s current average confirmation time is nearly 16 minutes, but can surge to several hours and even days during heavy traffic.
Moreover, scaling solutions like the Lightning Network and Stacks have seen limited success due to technical complexity, limited smart contract capabilities, and slower transaction finality compared to modern Layer-1 blockchains.
As a result, there is a strong demand for new Bitcoin scaling solutions, and Bitcoin Hyper is stepping up to the plate.
The project’s cutting-edge architecture has impressed analysts, which is designed to bring scalability, programmability and near-instant finality to the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Instead of re-inventing the wheel, it uses the powerful Solana Virtual Machine to bring the performance of modern blockchains to BTC without compromising its security and decentralization.
It uses a canonical bridge to connect with Bitcoin’s base layer. Users deposit BTC into a designated address, where the Bitcoin Relay Program (a Solana VM-based smart contract) verifies block headers and proofs.
Once confirmed, Bitcoin Hyper mints an equivalent amount of BTC on its Layer-2, allowing users to transact instantly and access advanced features like staking, payments, DeFi and even memes.
The system periodically batches and compresses transactions, using ZK-proofs for security and syncing state back to Layer-1. For withdrawals, a proof is generated and validated before BTC is released back on the Bitcoin base layer.
This approach gives Bitcoin Hyper an edge over Lightning and other rollups by offering full DeFi support, high speed, and trustless interoperability with Bitcoin.
Is HYPER the Next 100x Crypto? It is not without any reason that prominent analysts are bullish on HYPER’s upside potential.
Layer-2 coins tend to have high upside potential. Ethereum’s Arbitrum and Optimism have had a peak market capitalization of over $4 billion, while Bitcoin’s Stacks has had a peak valuation of over $5 billion.
Moreover, Layer-2 coins tend to be excellent beta plays on their respective Layer-1s. For instance, experts remain confident that the Bitcoin price will likely hit $150,000, potentially even $200,000, this cycle.
Unsurprisingly, low-cap BTC-themed coins like Bitcoin Hyper, which is also a Layer-2 coin, could deliver outsized returns following its launch.
Moreover, HYPER has strong fundamentals as well, which impresses whales and smart money investors. For instance, its community-centric tokenomics and audited smart contracts separate it from other new crypto coins that are likely scams. Check out the Bitcoin Hyper whitepaper for more details.
As previously mentioned, prominent crypto influencers are already taking note, with many calling it the next 100x crypto.
With whales starting to FOMO, HYPER’s presale stages will likely sell out very quickly, which will push the price up. Therefore, sidelined investors have a limited opportunity to buy it at its lowest price from its ICO.
Buyers can also stake their HYPER coins and earn a reward rate of over 150% per annum.
