“I’ve decided to leave Twitter because I believe the company is ready to move on from its founders,” Dorsey said in a statement.
Another important issue that’s worth mentioning is the fact that Agrawal, who’s served as CTO since 2017, has been with Twitter for more than a decade.
Dorsey praises BitcoinNow, he made some pretty exciting affirmations about Bitcoin and Web3 and you can check out what happened below.
When Cardi B asked online if crypto will replace the US dollar, Dorsey hopped in the comments and said this:
Yes, Bitcoin will

As Fortune publication notes, Dorsey is one of Bitcoin’s biggest cheerleaders, saying earlier this year at the Bitcoin 2021 conference in Miami that the crypto “changes everything” for him.
He also said the following:
“I don’t think there’s anything more important in my lifetime to work on, and I don’t think there’s anything more enabling for people around the world.”
Block (formerly Square), where Dorsey is still CEO, has invested heavily in Bitcoin.
As fortune notes, an October report in Bitcoin Magazine said the company held nearly 8,027 Bitcoins. That would put the current worth of those holdings at $390 million.
He also made sure to make a point about Web3 as well and you can check out his tweet below.
You don’t own “web3.”
The VCs and their LPs do. It will never escape their incentives. It’s ultimately a centralized entity with a different label.
Know what you’re getting into…

Elon Musk jumped in, tweeting, “Has anyone seen web3? I can’t find it.” “It’s somewhere between a and z,” Dorsey replied in the comments.
