Follow us on Google NewsAster has unveiled another stablecoin-denominated option for perpetual trading, adding five RWA markets to its platform just to integrate tokenized equities and commodities into an all-perpetual trading system.
The launch also marks the beginning of the World Liberty Financial Liquidity initiative that will support the new markets as Aster is preparing to widen the product line.
Five RWA Perpetual Markets Go LiveAster announced that SPCXUSD1, CLUSD1, XAUUSD1, SNDKUSD1 and SKHYNIXUSD1 are now live under its AOS-2 standard, which sets the framework for new perpetual listings on the platform.
The first USD1-denominated RWA Perp markets are live.
SPCXUSD1, CLUSD1, XAUUSD1, SNDKUSD1 and SKHYNIXUSD1 have been listed through AOS-2, Aster’s published standard for perpetual listings. More USD1-denominated RWA markets will follow.

The contracts provide exposure to real-world assets through perpetual products rather than traditional spot ownership. The listed markets include assets linked to SpaceX, crude oil, gold, Sandisk and SK hynix.
Each contract uses USD1 for denomination and settlement, giving traders a common stablecoin-based settlement layer across the new RWA products.
The transfer introduces a new application of real-world assets that are tokenized in decentralized derivatives trades. The traders are not buying the underlying asset directly, but it is through perpetual contracts that they can take leveraged long or short positions based on the Aster trading rules and risk controls.

Aster Targets Broader RWA CoverageThe five markets are just getting started, with more USD1-denominated RWA markets to come, Aster said.
This growth may provide tokenized assets with a more prominent part in Decentralized trading as marketplaces keep gaining exposure to equities, commodities, as well as offchain possessions.
However, perpetual contracts do not represent direct ownership of the underlying assets. They are dependent on the structure of the product, on the pricing mechanism and on the capacity to keep the market exposure accurate, of the platform.

$28M Liquidity Initiative Supports the LaunchIn addition, Aster unveiled a dedicated growth fund in support of liquidity across its USD1 RWA markets alongside the listings.
This initiative will involve 250 million WLFI tokens and 12.5 USD1 from Aster. The figures from Aster estimate that the combined package is about $28 million in assets at market price.
The fund is planned to boost liquidity in markets as they are launched for trade with sufficient activity.
The launch also introduces another utility layer, at a price of USD1. The stablecoin will not be just used as a transfer asset or financial asset, but also as the settlement asset for these RWA perpetual contracts.
Aster has previously launched USD1-based crypto perpetuals, including those based on major cryptocurrencies. With the new launch, the relationship takes tokenization of the real world a step beyond.
The expansion also comes as crypto exchanges increasingly experiment with bringing traditional market exposure onchain. With tokenised stocks and commodities expanding the scope of what can be traded directly on blockchain-based platforms, perpetual markets represent another tool for price exposure.
These five RWA listings represent what’s coming first, and Aster said the “map gets bigger from here.”
