Follow us on Google NewsBitfinex Securities has completed its largest capital raise to date, securing $50 million for Alkemya Metacore SCSp through the tokenized ALKN offering. The deal pushes the platform further into the real-world asset market, combining a traditional investment structure with blockchain-based issuance and transfer controls.
Bitfinex Securities Sets New $50 Million RecordThe $50 million raise was completed for Alkemya Metacore SCSp, a Luxembourg-based investment vehicle. According to Bitfinex Securities, the transaction is its largest offering so far under El Salvador’s digital asset regulatory framework.
The fundraising isn’t the last chance for investors to invest in ALKN. There will be more tokens available for purchase by qualified investors until October 15, 2026, at a minimum of $120,000.
Once the subscription is complete, Bitfinex Securities is set to open the tokenized investment on the secondary market to allow qualified participants to trade it on a regulated platform. The structure will be traditional partnership interest delivered in a digital format with restrictions on eligibility for participation and transfers of ownership.

ALKN Token Links Investors to Alkemya’s OperationsALKN Token holders have the right to receive payouts linked to business cards of the partnership. The proceeds of the sale and use of materials based on nickel could be included in these distributions.
There is also a 5 year vesting period for the release of additional ALKN tokens. This is the system that governs new supply’s arrival in the market, and the way it flows, not the quantity of new supply that comes at once.
Liquid Network Powers the Tokenized OfferingALKN will be on the Liquid Network. But that won’t be the case with transfers. ALKN may be sent or received by only approved participants and investors are restricted to being considered a Limited Partner of Alkemya Metacore. Applicants have to meet the professional investor requirements according to the relevant EU provisions as well.
Another crucial component of the system is wallet approval. Wallets need to complete the Bitfinex Securities’ KYC/AML process in order to receive and/or transfer the tokens. This includes blockchain settlement and compliance controls of a regulated securities offering.
Record Raise Expands Bitfinex’s Tokenization StrategyThe $50 million deal will provide a new record for Bitfinex Securities in terms of capital raising via tokens. What Alkemya offers is not a conventional financial instrument issued through a traditional market layer, but interests of the Alkemya partnership based in Luxembourg, using blockchain technology.
The project also underscores the increasing level of tokenization that is transcending digital currencies and forms associated with real-world assets and enterprises. With ALKN, investor distributions are based on the company’s nickel-related operations.
Bitfinex Securities is now advancing on to the next step of the offering, opening additional ALKN tokens to qualified investors until October 15 before moving on to secondary market trading.
