Follow us on Google NewsBitget Wallet is evolving from a crypto storage and trading platform to a service that allows users to receive traditional currencies. Launched on October 27, 2026, Virtual Accounts gives users personal USD and EUR account details directly inside the wallet, without requiring local residency or a branch visit.
What if you could have your own US or EU bank account, with just a few taps?
INTRODUCING: Virtual Accounts – dedicated USD & EUR accounts inside Bitget Wallet.

Bitget Wallet Connects Bank Transfers to StablecoinsThe new Virtual Accounts service is available via a licensed financial infrastructure partner, Noah. Users can set up USD and EUR accounts for free and have access to payments via recognized banking networks.
These e-payment options all detail ACH, Fedwire (U.S.), SEPA (Europe), or SWIFT (international). The user deposits money and the money is instantly converted into USDT/USDC and deposited into the user’s self-custodial wallet.
This setup allows the users to flow the payment straight into crypto directly without having to go over a centralized exchange or a separate crypto on-ramp.
The stablecoins can then be utilized throughout the services existing in Bitget Wallet, including card spending, QR payments, cross-border transfers, yield products, and investments in cryptocurrencies and tokenized real-world assets.
The service is available to accept incoming transfers, at this time, however. The decision indicates that outbound bank transfers will be scheduled for the coming months, the announcement said.

$500 Transfers Could Cost Just $2 in Platform FeesOne of the major selling points is the fact that it could cut out on any bills related to cross border payments, especially for freelancers, beneficiaries of overseas income or people that work remotely.
The estimated platform fee for transferring $500 ACH via Virtual Accounts is about $2 on Bitget Wallet. In comparison, World Bank data shows that the average remittance cost around the world is about 6%, or roughly $30 on the same transmission.
The comparison implies that there is a significant potential saving, but the numbers are not necessarily comparable in all cases. Few charges may not be included for sending-bank charges, blockchain network charges, and third-party charges.
Who Can Benefit From Virtual Accounts? The feature targets three main groups, which are crypto users intending to deposit with a traditional bank and convert to stablecoins, those receiving international remittances, and workers receiving salaries from abroad with either a US or European employer.
A personal USD and EUR account may present another easy method for receiving foreign-currency payments for eligible users who do not have foreign-currency bank accounts. The money is then moved to what is called “under wallet custody”, where it is still held in the user’s wallet and not deposited in a traditional bank account.
According to Bitget Wallet, they have over 100 million users globally and have more than $300 million in user protection funds. In addition to the already existing crypto-linked cards and QR payments capabilities, Virtual Accounts also introduces the receiving feature into its wider payment platform.
