MEXC Ventures, the investment arm of the crypto exchange MEXC, announced the launch of a $30 million Web3 fund to support the next generation of talent within the decentralized space on Thursday.

In a press release, the firm said the IgniteX fund is set to be rolled out over a five-year period, reflecting MEXC Ventures’ commitment to assisting sustainable blockchain development.
The project kicks off with a dedicated launchpad program designed to incubate ideas and attract early-stage Web3 startups, developer communities, and educational institutions.
Fund Launch in Partnership With Korea UniversityThe fund is being launched is in partnership with Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute.
This program will support blockchain development, facilitate academic exchanges, and develop a pool of next-generation Web3 professionals, thereby ensuring a smooth transition for new users into the decentralized economy.
