Theorem, an RWA exchange infrastructure, launches today its exchange infrastructure designed specifically for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). The platform allows issuers, tokenization platforms and blockchain networks to deploy and operate customizable secondary markets that reflect the unique requirements of each asset.
Tokenization continues to rapidly expand across financial markets: by some estimates, it has already surpassed $28 billion by June 2026. Yet only about $3 billion of that value is actively used in DeFi, highlighting how much of today’s tokenized capital remains difficult to trade. Furthermore, 93-100% of capital that enters RWA protocols comes through primary subscriptions, while genuine DEX acquisition accounts for only 0-6% in most cases.
Issuance of assets being significantly easier than secondary trading is a challenge that still remains largely unsolved, and that is precisely the gap that Theorem is designed to bridge.
Instead of adding yet another decentralized exchange to the market, Theorem acts as a provider of exchange infrastructure that partners can deploy under their own brand and manage themselves. The core design idea is to enable organizations to launch dedicated trading venues while retaining full ownership, operational control and administrative rights.
Theorem is powered by Algebra Integral, the production-tested exchange infrastructure that has been deployed across more than 100 decentralized exchanges on over 50 EVM-compatible networks. Building on this foundation, Theorem adds a configurable rule framework designed specifically for tokenized real-world assets.
Under that framework, there is no need to force assets to conform to typical DEX mechanics. Instead, trading venues can incorporate KYC and eligibility checks, ownership restrictions, market hours, reference pricing, external identity providers and many other asset-specific trading rules while remaining fully compatible with decentralized infrastructure.
By doing things this way, the platform also addresses the question of infrastructure ownership. For institutional participants especially, this is a notable concern, because they cannot afford to depend on governance decisions unilaterally issued by third-party exchanges. With Theorem’s approach, they don’t have to: partners can deploy their own venues, reducing operational dependencies and maintaining full control over how their markets evolve.
