Adidas And Coinbase Partnership: A Surprise Project Is Developing

There are all kinds of exciting moves that are taking place in the crypto space. Check out the latest move that Coinbase made not too long ago.

As the online publication the Daily Hodl notes, Adidas is partnering with the crypto exchange Coinbase, but the details on the new partnership remain unclear.

Adidas Originals Twitter account revealed the following:

We’ve partnered with @coinbase.
Probably nothing.

It seems that Coinbase retweeted the message and said “Welcome to the party, partner!”

It’s also worth noting the fact that the company has issued any additional information about the new partnership.

The announcement comes right after another surprise crypto pairing for Adidas.

It’s been reported that earlier this week, the shoe company appeared to announce a partnership with the metaverse platform The Sandbox (SAND).

Speaking of Coinbase, the exchange has been making headlines a lot this year.

A few days ago, we revealed that the crypto exchange Coinbase has acquired the crypto wallet startup BRD, according to a notice from its leadership team.

In a letter address to BRD’s customers published on Wednesday, co-founders Adam Traidman and Aaron Voisine stated the following:

“Today, we would like to share the news that members of our team will be continuing our mission at Coinbase, where we will work together to bring the power of decentralization to even more users around the globe.”

Traidman and Voisine went on to say that “[a]t this time, nothing will change in the BRD wallet app and as always, your funds are safe and secure.”

They also noted the following:

“You may continue to transact normally. In the future, BRD wallet users will have an optional migration path to self custody with Coinbase Wallet, which will include a special gift. Stay tuned for more details to come in 2022.”
