It’s been revealed that 2023 could bring some interesting moves in the crypto market. Check out the latest reports about this below.
2023 could bring fireworks in the crypto spaceAn investor who accurately called the current bottom of the ongoing crypto bear market believes that Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are primed to take off next month.
Chris Burniske, who is a partner at venture capital firm Placeholder, tells his 255,200 Twitter followers that his intuition is that Bitcoin will go above $30,000 and Ethereum will go above $2,000 in April.
Burniske also believes the fact that their price movement is dependent on macroeconomic forces, however.
“For much of February, the dollar and rates went higher, while crypto hung in there. If the former two start to drift lower, BTC could push through $25,000, and if ETH/BTC pushes alongside that, we could get another round of fireworks.”
As the online pubcalition the Daily Hodl notes, the Placeholder partner also says he thinks traders who are predicting BTC to go lower than its 2022 fourth-quarter lows “are delusional.”

The next bull market could be extremely powerfulAccording to the latest reports, it seems that the One River Management CEO and CIO Eric Peters says he’s “extremely bullish” on the crypto markets. More than that, he said that he is expecting a powerful rebound for the nascent asset class.
In a new interview on the Bankless podcast, the head of the $2.5 billion crypto hedge fund recently acquired by Coinbase says tighter macro conditions triggered a rough bear market, but that the worst of it is likely behind us.
Peters is now forecasting a strong bullish rebound at some point. He also said that this could be driven by institutional adoption along with new use cases for crypto and blockchain technology.
