As we revealed not too long ago, Elon Musk just become the biggest shareholder at Twitter. He reportedly bought a $3 billion stake (9.2%) and the Internet is going crazy with excitement.
Twitter is currently celebrating the great news and there are all kinds of juicy posts about this.

Now, it seems that Musk is also appointed to the Twitter board.
I’m excited to share that we’re appointing @elonmusk to our board! Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our Board.

Check out Musk’s answer to this important move:
Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board to make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months!

Musk did not take a board seat and people are talking about this on Twitter.
Musk’s move is bullish for freedom of speechCheck out someone’s opinion about this:
Elon Musk not taking a board seat is bullish for free speech coming back to Twitter.
The board seat was a proposed tactic by Twitter’s current execs & board to curb his influence (limiting his maximum shares to 14.9%).
Musk can now pursue a hostile takeover if he so chooses.

The same person continued and said: “IMO this process is already happening. Shareholders don’t care about the woke stuff. And given Elon’s record of making shareholders rich, wouldn’t be surprised to see SJW panic in Twitter exec world right now.” Stay tuned for more news.
