Story Coin Posts 2.5% Gain, Leads Top 100 with 178% Return in 30 Days

Story Coin (IP) has risen by 2.5% in the past 24 hours, with its move to $5.47 coming as the crypto market as a whole barely moves today.

IP is down by 4% in a week, but a boasts a 4% gain in a fortnight and an impressive 178% increase in the last 30 days, making it the best-performing top-100 coin in this timeframe.

Having listed only last month, Story Coin still has plenty of potential for additional short- and medium-term gains, with the alt still waiting on listings from Binance and other major exchanges.

And with the token’s fundamentals putting it in a good position to profit from the rise of AI, Story could end up being one of the best new coins of 2025.

Story Coin is a new token, so it would be premature to read too much into its chart at this stage, although its indicators are interesting at the moment.

For example, its relative strength index (purple) has risen from just over 30 a couple of days ago to 50 today, a sign that the coin may be preparing for further gains.

On the other hand, its 30-period moving average (orange) remains well above the 200-period average (blue), a sign that Story’s price is still relatively high.

But as mentioned above, the coin listed only a month ago, so it’s hard to gauge just what exactly a fair or average price for it would be.

And one encouraging sign is that, after peaking $7.31 on February 26, the token is down by only 25%.

This is decline is low in comparison to other top-100 coins, which have all suffered since Inauguration Day peaks around January 20 (e.g. Solana is down by 56% on the ATH it set on January 19).

And while Story Coin has lost some momentum in the past couple of weeks, its fundamentals and outlook remain very strong.

It’s still waiting on listings from such major exchanges as Binance, while its network could end up becoming very big in the new AI-powered economy.

That is, its network is a layer-one blockchain which tokenizes intellectual property and content, providing creators with a means of monetizing their work.

This is potentially big in a system where generative AI trains using publicly available data, since it rewards creators for the input their work provides.

Based on this potential, IP – which pays transaction fees and grants governance rights – could return to $6 in the next few weeks, before reaching $7 again by May.

Some traders may be disappointed that they missed Story Coin’s launch, given that the token is more than 400% up since listing in the first half of February.
