Robert Kennedy Jr. is not the only US presidential candidate who is open to receiving crypto donations for their campaign.
Receiving crypto donationsFrancis Suarez, the current mayor of Miami and a Republican presidential candidate, confirmed on Friday that he is now accepting crypto donations.
According to the website of the Suarez campaign, they are currently processing contributions through BitPay, a crypto payments provider that supports several cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Polygon (MATIC), Apecoin (APE), as well as stablecoins like Dai (DAI), Gemini Dollar (GUSD), Pax Dollar (USDP), USD Coin (USDC), and Euro Coin (EUROC), which is pegged to the euro.
Suarez, who has been a vocal advocate of crypto during his time as Miami’s mayor, believes that “Cryptocurrency is the future and it’s here to stay – America’s next president must lean into this generational opportunity, not shy away.”
His campaign’s decision to accept crypto is in line with his pro-crypto stance.
MiamiCoin (MIA), a decentralized altcoin launched by the city of Miami in August 2021, has suffered a significant decline of over 99.5% from its all-time high of $0.0552, which was set in September 2021, as reported by CoinGecko.

This issue gained attention on social media platform X on Thursday, as customers attempted to locate their funds.
While Wells Fargo has not given a reason for the missing deposits, CBS News has reported that the issue will be resolved soon.
The bank has acknowledged that only a small number of customers have experienced difficulty with their deposit transactions, and the majority of these issues have been resolved.
