A couple of days ago, Snoop Dogg shared a tweet saying that he is Cozomo de’ Medici.

This is a pseudonymous NFT collector that joined Twitter in August.

OpenSea

OpenSea is the original peer-to-peer NFT marketplace, and it’s definitely the largest.

As the online publication Decrypt notes, at the time of writing, it has a total trading volume of over $6.5 billion (according to analytics platform DappRadar). This offers NFTs everything from in-game items and collectibles to artwork, music, GIFs, and more.

Earlier today, we revealed that the NFT marketplace OpenSea launched a mobile app for iOS and Android users on Thursday.

The online publication The Block Crypto notes that the mobile app allows users to “connect their OpenSea profile and discover new works, save works to favorites and filter NFT searches based on criteria such as category, name, collection and creator.”

Axie Marketplace

NFT-powered video game Axie Infinity plays host to the second-largest NFT marketplace.

An important issue to mention is that it has a total trading volume of more than $2.1 billion on Dappradar.

“It trades exclusively in Axies: cute, Pokémon-like digital pets which players can buy and trade on the Axie Marketplace,” Decrypt notes.

CryptoPunks/Larva Labs

The exact online publication notes that the third important NFT marketplace is one of the earliest examples of NFTs on the Ethereum network CryptoPunks.

This is is a series of 10,000 randomly generated characters with a pixel art aesthetic and unique attributes.

It’s also essential to note the fact that CryptoPunks creator Larva Labs’ marketplace is the location where the majority of sales take place.
