Bitunix, the fastest-growing cryptocurrency exchange in the world, has announced that its multi-assets trading mode now supports Toncoin (TON) as a margin asset. This upgrade will enhance the user experience and offer greater flexibility for traders.
With this update, Bitunix users can now use TON directly as margin for their futures trades. Traders no longer need to convert TON into USDT first; they can simply transfer TON from their spot account to their futures account and start trading right away. This saves time and avoids unnecessary transactions. Additionally, on Bitunix, TON can be used independently as margin or alongside other major digital assets in a joint margin option. Currently, TON-based USDT tokens are also supported for deposit and withdrawal on Bitunix.
Margin assets are funds used as collateral when opening futures trades. By expanding the range of supported margin assets, Bitunix allows traders to manage their funds more efficiently. Now, users have the option to use TON as margin without being limited to holding only USDT, thus increasing trading flexibility.
How to Use Toncoin (TON) as Margin for Futures Trading on Bitunix- Register and Deposit TON
Register for a Bitunix account and deposit TON into your account. Go to the “Deposit” section, select TON, generate the deposit address, and send the TON tokens from your wallet. - Select Futures Trading
Navigate to the “Futures Trading” section and select the contract you want to trade (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.). - Enable Joint Margin Option
In the futures trading module, enable the Multi-Assets option, then transfer TON to your futures account. - Place Your Order
Set your trade parameters (long or short, leverage, contract size, order type), confirm that you have enough TON as margin, and submit your order. - Monitor and Adjust Your Position
Track your position, margin, liquidation levels, and unrealized profits or losses on the platform. You can adjust leverage or add more TON if needed. - Close Your Position and Withdraw Profits
To close your position, click the “Close” button and confirm. Then, withdraw any remaining TON or profits to your personal wallet.
According to UPay, the global cryptocurrency futures market’s monthly trading volume surged to $2 trillion in 2024. In this context, Bitunix has become one of the exchanges that supports the largest selection of margin assets, including BTC, BNB, ETH, SOL, DOGE, FDUSD, TON, USDT, USDC, USDE, and XRP. The platform plans to add even more tokens in the future. This ongoing expansion is part of Bitunix’s commitment to improving the trading experience for all users, whether beginners or experienced traders.
Bitunix has announced that it will continue to optimize its multi-assets trading mode by introducing more token support, making futures trading more convenient, efficient, and accessible to the entire crypto community.
About Toncoin (TON)Toncoin is the native cryptocurrency of The Open Network (TON), a blockchain initially developed by Telegram. TON is designed for fast transactions, low fees, and scalability, making it ideal for payments, decentralized applications (dApps), and smart contracts.
TON now operates as a decentralized network supported by a strong community. One of its main features is its ability to process millions of transactions per second, making it one of the fastest blockchains. It also supports a variety of blockchain-based services, including TON Storage (a decentralized file-sharing system), TONDNS (a naming system that makes blockchain addresses easier to access), and TON Pay (a micro-payment service).
With Telegram’s recent integration of TON, the coin has become increasingly popular as users can make payments and interact with blockchain services directly within the app. This gives TON a unique advantage over many other cryptocurrencies as it taps into Telegram’s global user base.
