This year’s conversations centered on agentic commerce, stablecoins, embedded finance, and the regulation working to keep pace. Kraken showed up across all of it: on the main stages, on the show floor, and across Amsterdam after hours.
Here’s how the week went.
Arjun Sethi opens the showKraken Co-CEO Arjun Sethi kicked things off on Tuesday morning with an opening keynote, “Money Open,” on the Orbital Stage.
In conversation with Money20/20’s Scarlett Sieber, the session set the tone for the days ahead, engaging with the themes that defined this year’s show, from agentic commerce to the future of money and the infrastructure being built to support it.
A fireside on embedded finance, with CitiOn Tuesday afternoon, Kraken VP, Payments and Blockchain Brett McClain joined Citi on The Money Pot Stage for a fireside titled “Beyond Disruption: Architecting the Future of Embedded Financial Services for Digital Commerce.” The conversation dug into how financial services are increasingly built directly into the platforms people already use, and the infrastructure that makes that possible, a space Payward Services was created to serve.
Payward Services is Kraken’s B2B infrastructure platform, giving companies a single integration for stablecoin payments, tokenized asset markets, digital asset trading, funding, and more, all built on Kraken’s long operating history.
Beyond speakershipsBeyond the stages, Payward Services hosted a steady stream of partner and customer conversations on the show floor across all three days, turning hallway momentum into real discussions about what teams are building next.
Beyond the conferenceThe week didn’t end when the show floor closed.
- Krak Coffee House at The Block. Across the first two days, Krak set up shop at The Block with sessions running from a morning Coffee House to a midday Lunch Settlement and an afternoon Waffles and House DJ. Attendees could download Krak and redeem a welcome offer, and the space stayed busy throughout.
- xStocks Happy Hour at Kaia. xStocks took over Kaia for an evening of markets-themed networking, drawing a full house of around 100 guests.
- Payward Services dinner at Ciel Bleu. An intimate dinner at Ciel Bleu brought a small group together for a closer conversation, with every seat filled.
- Kraken VIP Happy Hour at Soho House. On Thursday evening, Payward Services welcomed the Kraken VIP community to Soho House Amsterdam, closing out the week with around 100 guests and a packed room.
Money20/20 Europe is where the fintech industry takes stock of where money is headed, and this year Kraken, xStocks, Kraken VIP, and Payward Services were part of that conversation on stage, on the floor, and across the city.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, joined us for a coffee or a drink, and traded ideas about what comes next. See you at the next one.
