This free-to-play title allows players to assemble squads of iconic Marvel superheroes and villains, each with unique abilities, to engage in dynamic battles across destructible environments within the Marvel Multiverse.

At launch, Marvel Rivals will feature a roster of 33 playable characters, including fan favorites like Iron Man, Black Panther, Hulk, and Scarlet Witch, as well as recent additions such as Wolverine, Black Widow, Iron Fist, Squirrel Girl, and Cloak and Dagger.

Each character is categorized into roles—Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist—offering diverse gameplay.

The game emphasizes cooperative play, enabling players to combine character abilities to execute unique team-up skills, adding depth to combat strategies. Battles unfold in various Marvel-inspired locations, including a newly revealed map, Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface, where the Guardians of the Galaxy confront Venom amid the looming threat of Knull.

Notably, all heroes will be free to unlock at launch, with future characters also accessible without additional cost, distinguishing Marvel Rivals from other titles that often require purchases for new content.

Ahead of the official release, the Marvel Games team plans to host an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on December 4th at 10 PM ET on the game’s official Discord channel, providing fans an opportunity to engage directly with the developers.
