Bad Actors Hacked Twitter Account of the Sandbox CEO

According to the latest reports, it seems like bad actors of the Sandbox CEO’s Twitter account have hacked him. Check out the latest reports about this.

Bad actors hacked Twitter account of CEO of Sandbox

The co-founder and CEO of The Sandbox, a well-known blockchain-based metaverse platform, has unfortunately been targeted by malicious individuals who gained unauthorized access to his Twitter account. Arthur Madrid, the head of The Sandbox, has informed his followers of this security breach.

He also says that people should be cautious when clicking links, particularly those that do not use The Sandbox’s official domain name.

“My Twitter was hacked today. and now is back. Please never click on any link that promotes airdrop or URL and looks SCAMMY – and not 100% using our proper and unique URL/domain name: http://sandbox.game.”

According to The Sandbox, the culprits created an illusion that the platform was giving away SAND tokens with the intention of luring people to a website that could potentially jeopardize their personal and financial data.

“Our CEO and Co-Founder Arthur Madrid’s Twitter account has been hacked. The hacker is posting a scam/phishing link for a fake airdrop of SAND tokens.”

It is recommended by The Sandbox that users avoid clicking on links that appear suspicious and report any related posts. The company is actively working towards removing the fraudulent website.

“Do NOT click on the link and instead report the post so it is blocked. We’re working on getting the site down and fix it ASAP.”
