It’s been just revealed that we have a new important partnership in the crypto space: Coinbase and Ledger are joining forces to offer users the ultimate security.

According to the official notes, the Coinbase Wallet browser extension now supports Ledger Hardware Wallets. This means you now have an additional layer of security for your crypto, NFTs and more when using your Coinbase Wallet browser extension.

Charles Hamel, VP Product at Ledger, stated the following:

“this new feature gives Coinbase users a world-leading security option and peace of mind when holding their crypto and NFTs.”

It’s also important to note the fact that Ledger enables you to manage your digital assets from within the security of your Nano hardware wallet and with your digital assets hack-proof.

According to the latest reports, Coinbase awarded the white hat hacker hundreds of thousands of dollars for finding and exposing the security vulnerability.

The online publication the Daily Hodl notes that a pseudonymous researcher by the name of Tree of Alpha took to Twitter to ask subscribers if anyone could get them in contact with Coinbase devs to disseminate an urgent HackerOne report.
