Follow us on Google NewsRipple has launched a novel platform called Ripple Mint to make institutional access and management of its RLUSD stablecoin easier. The launch marks Ripple’s investment and ambition to help develop regulated digital dollars that are more easily adopted by enterprises for payment, treasury and liquidity solutions, while also scaling RLUSD activity on a multi-blockchain basis.
Meet Ripple Mint.

Ripple Launches Ripple Mint for Institutional RLUSD OperationsRipple Mint brings together stable coin management, redemption, liquidity management, and cross-chain transfers in an easy-to-use platform engineered for institutions. Current RLUSD customers will be able to start using the service without delay.
There are two methods to engage with RLUSD via the platform. It can be operated either in a web application or be fully integrated into the institution’s own system via APIs. In this dual-access design, companies can automate stablecoin workflows and gain control over operations, providing flexible use.
Traditional manual minting and redeeming takes place as well as providing the ability to bridge assets across supported chains, real-time status checks, and integrating digital dollar processes into existing treasury or payment systems.

Automation Becomes a Core FeatureTo decrease the manual interference, Ripple launched new APIs and webhook notifications as well.
Now institutions can access account balances programatically, see all elements of minting and redemption, and receive real-time updates for all events such as fiat settlement, onchain transfers, and payout completion.
Standardized reference IDs for each transaction ease reconciliation and provide enterprises with full visibility along the payment lifecycle across fiat and blockchain payment flows.
Ripple said that the features are targeted toward exchanges, fintech firms, market makers, payment firms and other institutional members seeking scalable stablecoin capabilities.
RLUSD Expands Across Multiple Blockchain EcosystemsRipple will also be doing more to accelerate MLB’s multichain system. RLUSD was initially launched on XRP Ledger and Ethereum, and is moving onto the XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain.
Ripple emphasized that the XRPL EVM Sidechain holds a crucial position, encompassing both the EVM compatibility and near-integration to the XRP Ledger ecosystem. This will enable developers to work with familiar Ethereum tools while maintaining a liquid experience on XRPL.

Ripple Positions RLUSD for the Next Phase of Stablecoin Growth Built Around Enterprise InfrastructureRLUSD is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, a trust company chartered by New York Department of Financial Services, ensuring regulatory oversight that many institutional clients need, Ripple said.
The company thinks it’s shifting from being a payment service to becoming one of the fundamental pillars of financial fundamentals for trading, treasury business, cross-border settlement, and tokenization.
With regulated issuance, programmable APIs, multi-chain availability and enterprise grade automation, Ripple is putting RLUSD in a good position to meet the needs of institutional finance at scale. As adoption increases among supported blockchain networks, the company believes that as RLUSD and XRP expand their utility across the liquidity provision, settlement, collateral management, swaps and payment applications, they will complement each other.
